Raspberrys

Raspberrys Bistro and Fine Pastry is located at 1512 Dakota Avenue. I love to try something new just for the experience, good or bad.

Based on the name alone one would expect to walk in and see a display case filled with beautiful pastries. This was not the case, and yes, it was a bit disappointing, but we were still willing to try this restaurant for the experience.

What was found was a quaint little establishment, the décor styled in bohemian retro, and the tables were an intimate setting with candles and fresh flowers. Trying something different, I made the decision to have the catfish sandwich with apple slaw that came with fries. When the food arrived, it was extremely pleasing to the eye. The catfish was deep-fried and served on a foccacia bun with the apple slaw resting on top, served as an open-faced sandwich. The fries were served in a metal cone packed and piled high. The portions were definitely not disappointing.

The apple slaw was crisp and refreshing and was a great accompaniment to the catfish.

The food receives 4 smiles ☺☺☺☺,
The ambience 3 smiles☺☺☺,
The service 4 smiles☺☺☺☺,
The expectations receive 3 smiles because I truly wanted to see what the name advertised, fine pastries☺☺☺.

Overall rating: 3.5 smiles ☺☺☺

Rihanna: 9 Days Before Chris Apologized

Could this be because he's not sorry? It took him nine days to contact Paris Hilton's damage control team. This is only a guess but I think they told him it was time to apologize.

Florida Teen Accused of Videotaped Beating of Cheerleader Gets 3 Years Probation

Justice served? I will have to say in my opinion, NO! These girls methodically plotted and planned this attack. Whatever their reasons for doing so, it was still a horrible crime. Then being the proud little drama queens that they are, broadcasted it for all the world to see. These girls had plenty of time to back out of this crime, but they chose to carry it out and attack this girl. Oh wow, she had to write a letter of apology to the victim, and 100 hours of community service. Boy, that'll teach her not to do it again right? NOT!!!
